~ Design Committee ~

The Picnic Point Design Committee consists of five resident members.  The Chairman, James McArthur, can be reached at jwgmmca@comcast.net or 425-741-0089.  Contact via the Homeowners’ Association email pphoa@msn.com is also acceptable. 

The Picnic Point Design Committee is responsible for ensuring that all structure modifications and other exterior improvements comply with the requirements of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for Picnic Point and the Picnic Point Design Rules contained in Exhibit E to the covenants.  The Design Committee judges all improvements or changes on the impact of the aesthetics or character of Picnic Point.  Conformance to covenants, effect or impairment of views from surrounding properties or other matters that in the reasonable judgment of the committee shall affect the desirability/suitability of the proposed change are also factors of consideration.  Among others, changes in roofing material, exterior paint color, and exterior additions or alterations require Design Committee approval before the start of a project.  For a copy of the roofing or painting guide's, see the governing documents section of the website.
